![]() My main interest is to make sure shader chains arnt cut off, broken, so that sits above a single feature value, although those also should not totally mess it up, so not entirely irrelevant. Interface Description Shows a brief description of the currently-selected preset. ![]() This default behavior can be disabled on the Options tab. Note: When opening a scene, the Scene Converter dialog will open automatically if any legacy elements are detected. Please download & test, convert Vray scenes and Corona scenes, and zip them up and send to or attach here and I will extend the featureset to cover your case if possible. The Scene Converter dialog includes several presets for converting lights, materials and objects between render engines. Use the VRMat Converter to save those materials to.vrmat file(s). The usual workflow for.vrmat files is: Use the standard 3ds Max Material Editor to create V-Ray materials for the scene and assign them to objects. Legacy Bitmap is converted because the Arnold Image node is performance oriented, which can be measured in several ways. The V-Ray.vrmat converter converts materials in 3ds Max to.vrmat files that can be loaded using the VRayVRmatMtl material. Legacy CC node is converted because the Arnold CC node is a much better solution. The aim is to only work with material types officially supported by VRay. If you’re using any Raytrace materials in your scene then you’ll have to manually convert these.
